Michelle Fehler, USA
The Design School at Arizona State University
Michelle is a Biomimicry Professional and a Visual Communication Designer who is passionate about connecting Nature’s fantastic strategies to design. She is combining biomimicry thinking with design thinking in order to arrive at more sustainable and innovative solutions. Her research focuses on defining a life-centered design thinking methodology that allows the infusion of biomimicry thinking into the traditional design thinking and human-centered design process. She is looking at various tools and processes that would make the biomimetic approach more accessible to designers.
As a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Design School at Arizona State University, she teaches various multi-disciplinary design studios, lectures, and seminars to undergraduate and graduate students.
In addition, she teaches a practicum course as part of the Master's Biomimicry Program at ASU. She also travels to speak at various conferences such as at the World Usability Day, AIGA Y-conference, SustainbleUX, and at the Audubon society. Her goal is to change the paradigm from a human-centered to a life-centered approach.
Posterheroes, Italy
Posterheroes is an international poster contest and cultural project focused on social and environmental issues. The project encourages designers, artists, and creatives to express their visions on various global challenges such as climate change, human rights, social justice, and sustainability. Posterheroes is free and open to everyone and it aims to use the power of visual communication to stimulate public engagement and discussions about these important topics.
The contest, created in 2010 by Plug Association, has involved many organizations among which Favini, ITCILO and Fondazione Time2, current partners of the project.

International Reggae Poster Contest
Maria Papaefstathiou is a graphic designer, illustrator and blogger from Athens, Greece. She has been focusing her research on poster design and particular on social poster design and portrait design. Her most recent poster project is a series of posters celebrating great personalities of Greek and Jamaican traditional and popular culture.. These include actors, singers, musicians, poets etc. This is an ongoing project. “I believe that design is a powerful tool that we designers can use to spark enthusiasm, change mind sets and bring positive actions to our world and our culture”.
She is also the Co-founder of the International Reggae Poster Contest which was launched on December 2011, partnering, the creative activist Michael Thompson aka Freestylee.

She has been a member of the jury for ADC*E as well as a member of the jury for international design contests. She is also partner in the “Worldwide Graphic Designer” & “Like for Poster” groups. Aggeliki is the founder and Creative Director of the annual International Conference on Visual Communication, Graphic Stories, with the aim of imparting knowledge and specialized technical training, as well as exploring the modern trends in visual communication. Mohamed Zakaria Soltan, Egypt

Yang Zi is also deeply passionate about education. He holds the position of Visiting Professor at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, where he imparts the essence of advertising and brand creativity to students. As a Visiting Professor at Dalian Academy of Fine Arts, he has made a positive impact on art education.
In addition to his educational endeavors, Yang Zi is a Brand Expert Committee Member of the China Advertising Association, where he lends his wisdom to the development of the advertising industry.
Yang Zi actively participates in international academic activities. Ran Zheng is an art director with a passion for exploring different design disciplines. She has worked both independently and as part of teams, creating branding concepts and working as a motion designer, illustrator, product designer, and 3D designer for clients such as Google, Apple, and TikTok, as well as cultural institutions like Storefront for Art and Architecture, and fashion and beauty brands like LOROD and Tata Harper Haircare at Pentagram Design.

With over 14 years of experience in the field, she has developed design projects for global organizations such as the World Food Programme, UNICEF, the World Health Organization and UNOPS. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Blas Pascal (Córdoba, Argentina) and a master’s degree in Design, Multimedia and Visual Communication from Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (Rome, Italy).

Mona Ha Abd Elsalam is an international graphic designer who has participated in over 150 international exhibitions in more than 50 countries around the world. She has been honored with multiple international awards for her poster designs throughout her career.
She organized the first international poster exhibition titled "Space Journey" in the first Pharaonic city on the metaverse, "Metatoot City."
Additionally, she is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, specializing in the field of advertising. She also shares her knowledge as an international lecturer in design technology topics such as using the metaverse in advertising design, artificial intelligence, the future of creativity, and designing drone presentations. She has delivered lectures at various international universities in Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Egypt.

From 2017 to the present day, Christopher has actively participated in more than 180 World Poster Invitational Exhibitions, consistently pushing the boundaries of his craft.

Irwan is graduate of design and fine arts at Trisakti University, where he received a Master’s degree at the same University. He is a graphic designer, educator, art curator and jury. He designs posters and visual identity. He has held exhibitions and design events, but also been a jury and participated in various prestigious poster exhibitions, both in Indonesia and abroad (especially in China, Poland, South Korea, Japan, Russia, USA, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Lithuania, Ukraine, Mexico, Ecuador, Hungary, Cyprus). He is the founder and the leader of the Worldwide Graphic Designers community which has held exhibitions in four countries: Cyprus, Greece, Indonesia, Iran. Worldwide Graphic Designers (WGD) is a group of graphic designers which organize projects of poster design with social content. The participants, all established designers from all over the world, are invited to create collaboration posters, aiming the awareness, the sensitization and social reflection. He is also one of the founder of the Type Unite (TU) community (Members consist of several countries from within and outside the country: Indonesia, USA, Poland, Turkey, Ecuador, Hungary, United Arab Emirates and South Korea). After serving as Professor of Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design for five years, he is now one of founding faculties and Assistant Professor of Practice in Digital Media at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Computational Media and Arts thrust area. His research interest include storytelling in virtual reality, screen design & world building strategies, Creator & user experience in process of creating. Besides, he has founded his artist studio Jake Weird Power in Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre since August, 2019.
He likes to explore and develop different visual styles to express his artistic opinions and stories. Most of his films are dark-humorous, ironic and fantastic, reflecting social and political issues indirectly. Jake Zhang holds a BA in Digital Media from China Central Academy of Fine Arts and a MFA in Animation and Digital Arts from University of Southern California. His films have been awarded and selected in festivals all over the world, including Jury Award in 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival (2017), Storytelling Designation Winner in Adobe Design and Achievement Award (2015), Nomination in 58th CINE Golden Eagle Award (2015), the Best 2D project in The Vision Feast, Distinction Award in Athens Animation Festival (2016), Winner in Animaze Animation Day in Cannes Film Festival (2016), Official selection in KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival (2015), Corfu Animation Festival (2015), Cutout Fest International Animation and Digital Art Festival (2015), Animasyros International Animation Festival (2015) and Melbourne International Animation Festival (2014). Currently, Jake lives in Hong Kong.

Peng Qu (曲鹏) is an artist and digital media specialist, renowned for his contributions to art education in Dalian, China. As an exceptional art practitioner, Peng possesses extensive experience in the field of art education and has a strong passion for nurturing the next generation of designers and artists. He is not only one of the founders of the Qingyun Art Program but also the former founder and principal of Dalian Chunxi Art School. Peng has established several highly acclaimed art education institutions in Dalian and other regions, providing students with expansive learning platforms.
Through his guidance, many of his students have successfully gained admission to these esteemed institutions and achieved outstanding personal accomplishments.
Qianheye Bao (包钱和也) is a rising graphic designer from China known for her unique artistic style and creative ideas. She excels at combining traditional elements with handcrafted and digital designs, infusing her work with a distinct charm and depth.
As the founder of both Baiwa Art Space and Baiwa Plant Dye Clothing, Bao is dedicated to promoting the fusion of traditional art and modern design. Leveraging her design talent, she creates breathtaking art spaces and unique dyed clothing pieces that blend traditional dyeing techniques with contemporary design language, infusing traditional art into modern living.
As the Design Director of Qingyun Art Program, Bao has achieved success not only in the field of design but also in nurturing young designers and artists, while promoting the integration of art and design.

Pavel Pisklakov — designer, typographer and educator. Born, lives and works in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Associate Professor at the South Ural State University. Specializes in posters, identity and typography. Member of ATypI, AIGA and Russia Designers Association.
His works were exhibited all over the world in more than 40 countries on 4 continents: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Mexico, Montenegro, Liechtenstein, Iran, Ecuador, South Korea, China, Hungary, Poland, Peru, Estonia, Slovakia, Uruguay, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Macedonia, USA, Thailand, Spain, Austria, Germany, Finland, Bolivia, Iraq, Japan, Denmark, Cyprus, Kosovo, Albania, Colombia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, etc.

Naufan Noordyanto is a lecturer at Department of Visual Communication Design (VCD), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia. Naufan also works as an independent graphic designer and graphic consultant who focus on graphic design: poster and visual branding; typography, illustration, etc. He has been awarded, invited, and selected in more than 200+ international art events, competitions, or exhibitions. On several occasions, he served as a speaker, guest lecturer, or jury member in various national and international art and design events.
Jiaqi Wang, China
Luxun Academy of Fine Art
Jiaqi Wang is a member of Dalian Arts and Crafts Association in China, an art designer and lecturer at Luxun Academy of Fine Art. Jiaqi Wang graduated from China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree and graduated from Academy of Art University(AAU) and Kookmin University(KMU) with a master's degree in art and PhD in design. His main research interests cover product design, interaction design, visual design and service design, and he has developed products for many companies and design institutions in China.

The PosterFor team maintains a collaborative relationship with our esteemed partners and carefully selected jury members throughout the selection process. Furthermore, jury members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and expertise may be invited to continue their role in future editions of the competition.
As we prepare for the 2024 edition, we also have plans to select additional jury members from among the winners in this year's competition. However, it's essential to keep in mind that jury members are not eligible to participate as entrants in the competition.
