Michelle is a Biomimicry Professional and a Visual Communication Designer who is passionate about connecting Nature’s fantastic strategies to design. She is combining biomimicry thinking with design thinking in order to arrive at more sustainable and innovative solutions. Her research focuses on defining a life-centered design thinking methodology that allows the infusion of biomimicry thinking into the traditional design thinking and human-centered design process. She is looking at various tools and processes that would make the biomimetic approach more accessible to designers.

 

As a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Design School at Arizona State University, she teaches various multi-disciplinary design studios, lectures, and seminars to undergraduate and graduate students.

 

In addition, she teaches a practicum course as part of the Master's Biomimicry Program at ASU. She also travels to speak at various conferences such as at the World Usability Day, AIGA Y-conference, SustainbleUX, and at the Audubon society. Her goal is to change the paradigm from a human-centered to a life-centered approach.

Haddad is the Founder and Curator of Poster Stellars "Intercontinental Poster Competition" - USA.  

 

He has 25 years of experience in the advertising and design industry where he worked with many worldwide agencies such as SAATCHI & SAATCHI, TEAM Y&R, Publicis Graphics, and M&C SAATCHI.

 

Moreover, Haddad is a Social Poster Designer, International (Curator, Jury, Lecturer, Speaker, Awards Winner, and Exhibitor). He has won more than 82 global awards around the world.

 

Haddad is an invited Jury, Speaker, Lecturer, and Critic at many institutions such as Reece Museum, East Tennessee State University, Temple University, San Jose State University, Pratt Institute, Pradita University-Indonesia, IdcN Nagoya-Japan, A' Design Award-Italy, Asia Creative Design Award-China, Give Peace a Chance-Switzerland, and Graphis NY-USA. 

 

His work has been, awarded, exhibited, published, and featured in many renowned newspapers, design annuals, magazines, exhibitions, competitions, and books. Zhongyang Li is the Professor, PhD supervisor, and Director of the Institute of Visual Design and Education at Capital Normal University. Expert in the evaluation of design disciplines for the Ministry of Education, reviewer for humanities and social sciences for the Ministry of Education, reviewer for art projects of the National Social Science Fund by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and reviewer for projects of the National Science and Technology Support Program by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Led and participated in 16 national projects, including the "863 Program," and was awarded the National Excellent Teaching Material and served as the chief editor of national undergraduate planning textbooks for higher education institutions. Published 22 monographs and books, and authored over 120 academic papers. Currently serves as a director of the Korean Design Association, member of the International Council of Design ICO-D, and a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts AIGA. Vice Chairman of the Creative China Design Alliance, Vice Chairman of the National Cultural and Creative Design Industry Alliance, and Head of the Image Landscape Design Project for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Honors include being recognized as a provincial-level outstanding young expert with significant contributions, and recipient of the Guanghua Longteng Award - China Design Contribution Award Silver Medal.

Chikako Oguma (小熊千佳子) is an Art Director, Designer, and Freelancer based in Tokyo, Japan. With a strong background in graphic design, she has been involved in a diverse array of creative projects, including designing posters, books, signage plans, logos, visual identities (VI), and branding, among others. Over the past decade, Chikako has actively participated in poster exhibitions both in Japan and internationally, earning her multiple prestigious awards for her outstanding work.

Enzhao Liu is a Philadelphia painter and visual artist known for his aesthetic blend of merging eastern and western cultures into beautiful serene paintings. Oscar is a creative director and designer who moved from a border town in Arizona to the city of dreams, New York. He manages Estudio Bodega, where he creates limited-edition goods, and is an expert in full brand systems. He has created a variety of digital collateral, logos, branding guidelines, interactive installations, environmental graphics, and typography for different clients over his more than 13-year creative career.

Yang Zi is a renowned Chinese designer with over twenty years of advertising design experience. He is the founder of Yang Zi Branding and serves as the Creative Director at Shanghai Design By Heart Branding Agency. He is celebrated in the Chinese advertising industry for his exceptional creative talent and innovative contributions to advertising marketing.

 

Yang Zi is also deeply passionate about education. He holds the position of Visiting Professor at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, where he imparts the essence of advertising and brand creativity to students. As a Visiting Professor at Dalian Academy of Fine Arts, he has made a positive impact on art education.

 

In addition to his educational endeavors, Yang Zi is a Brand Expert Committee Member of the China Advertising Association, where he lends his wisdom to the development of the advertising industry.

 

Yang Zi actively participates in international academic activities. He serves as an International Final Judge at the Shanghai International Advertising Festival and is also a Final Judge at the Chinese Times Advertising Awards in Taiwan. Additionally, he is a Researcher at the Shanghai University Advertising and Brand Center, providing valuable insights into the field of advertising.

Daniel Meier is an art director, social designer, curator, lecturer and international and award winning poster artist. His socially critical works have been exhibited in more than 30 countries worldwide, including Poland, Spain, France, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Korea, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, the United States, Canada, Peru and many more.

 

In addition to being a designer and lecturer, he gives international workshops on social poster design and has taught at Guangdong Teachers College of Foreign Language and Arts in China, Arkansas State University School of Art in the US, OCAD College in Canada, SABS University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro in Pakistan, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Suleyman Demirel University in Turkey.

 

As a social designer, attitude is just as important to him as design. Themes he deals with are diversity, anti-racism, human rights, animal rights, environmental protection and social justice. He believes that graphic designers have a great responsibility. They influence people's thinking and actions through their design. People should always be aware of this.

Mona Ha Abd Elsalam is an international graphic designer who has participated in over 150 international exhibitions in more than 50 countries around the world. She has been honored with multiple international awards for her poster designs throughout her career.

She organized the first international poster exhibition titled "Space Journey" in the first Pharaonic city on the metaverse, "Metatoot City."

​

Additionally, she is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, specializing in the field of advertising. She also shares her knowledge as an international lecturer in design technology topics such as using the metaverse in advertising design, artificial intelligence, the future of creativity, and designing drone presentations. She has delivered lectures at various international universities in Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Egypt.

Christopher Han is CEO of AGA(The Associationof Global Artists). He pursued his studies in Aesthetics at Hongik University's Graduate School of Humanities. Based in Seoul, Korea, he is a versatile artist, proficient in graphic design, art goods design, illustration, and visual art.

 

His artistic talents have earned him recognition globally. His works were finalists in prestigious events such as the 14th, 15th, and 16th Bienal Internacional del Cartel in Mexico. Moreover, he boasts an impressive collection of over 51 awards and selections in various international competitions.

 

From 2017 to the present day, Christopher has actively participated in more than 180 World Poster Invitational Exhibitions, consistently pushing the boundaries of his craft.

Jake Zhang is an award-winning independent animation artist, illustrator and educator living in LA and Hong Kong. After serving as Professor of Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design for five years, he is now one of founding faculties and Assistant Professor of Practice in Digital Media at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Computational Media and Arts thrust area. His research interest include storytelling in virtual reality, screen design & world building strategies, Creator & user experience in process of creating. Besides, he has founded his artist studio Jake Weird Power in Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre since August, 2019.

 

He likes to explore and develop different visual styles to express his artistic opinions and stories. Most of his films are dark-humorous, ironic and fantastic, reflecting social and political issues indirectly. Jake Zhang holds a BA in Digital Media from China Central Academy of Fine Arts and a MFA in Animation and Digital Arts from University of Southern California. His films have been awarded and selected in festivals all over the world, including Jury Award in 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival (2017), Storytelling Designation Winner in Adobe Design and Achievement Award (2015), Nomination in 58th CINE Golden Eagle Award (2015), the Best 2D project in The Vision Feast, Distinction Award in Athens Animation Festival (2016), Winner in Animaze Animation Day in Cannes Film Festival (2016), Official selection in KLIK!
